Connect WhatsBlocking
Connect your assistant to the same saved decisions, facts and next steps across conversations.
- In an assistant that supports remote MCP servers, add this server address:
https://whatsblocking.com/mcp - Follow the connection's sign-in link. Your first verified email code creates your account. You can then add an optional password from Account. On later visits, sign in with an email code, your password or a passkey you have added.
- Read the approval page and check which app you are connecting. Approving lets that app read and write your store. If it asks to stay connected, it can renew its access without another sign-in.
- Return to your assistant and ask it to read or update your store. For example: “Show what is blocking my projects in WhatsBlocking.”
Start with one subject
A subject holds one ongoing matter, such as a website launch. You can record the decisions still open, facts and guesses, information you are waiting for, and actions to take. For a new subject, try: “Create a subject called Maple website launch in WhatsBlocking.”
Review the details the assistant proposes to save and use its tool approval controls. Keep estimates marked as guesses until you have evidence.
Keep task details concise
Send only what is needed for the task. Keep card details, medical records, government identifiers, passwords, sign-in codes and API keys out of task text and feedback. Enter authentication details only on the dedicated sign-in page.
Manage the connection
Open Connected apps to revoke a connection or personal token, or remove a passkey. Revoking access does not delete your saved subjects or their history.
